Photo blocks are small art works which can fill little spots in a home, they group in sets, don’t need framing, and make great gifts. They come with a slot on the back so they are ready to hang and they can also stand on edge.
Wood photo blocks are made with Baltic Birch ply wood and are a unique style of small photography artwork. The image is water resistant and the edges show the cabinet grade plywood with 13 little layers. They are made one at a time, by hand, by photographer Alexander Nesbitt in his Newport studio.
In 2010 Nesbitt developed this version of a wood photo block with a laminated photo using a unique adhesive and coating technique. Also unique is the hand sanded edge which gives a perfect finish with his signature rounded corner style.
